Teaching

Whether in a meeting with an investigator or in the classroom, teaching and explaining statistical concepts is an exercise in translation. My goal is to make statistical techniques accessible and respect the experiences of those I am working with. Whether leading a course, guest lecturing, or working one-on-one as a TA, I try to keep the material grounded in applied public health problems that can help facilitate the connection between the statistical method and the people and problems it’s meant to serve.
